January’s Final Weigh-In…

Posted on February 1, 2010 by Christine | 12 Comments

Whew! January ended up being a much more whirlwind of a month than I anticipated. Lots of boudoir sessions leading up to Valentine’s Day – there are going to be some very nice gifts received this year by people! And then I ended up sick this past week, fever, aches, major sinus congestion, coughing – the works. To put it mildly – it sucked. I’m finally on the mend now though, fortunately!

But the big excitement around here has been our Weight Watchers results for the month! Whoo hoo! I lost *drumroll* 7.4 pounds this month! YAY!!! That works out to a 3.206% weight loss overall. Sweet!

Mike joined me on my “5 in 10″ goal, and has become even more fanatical about tracking his WW Points than I am – so awesome! It also makes it easier to do if I’m not doing it alone.

So now January is over, and I get a clean slate fresh start for February. Another 5 pound goal. Having done it for one month, I know I can do it!

How did you do this month? Did you make the 5lb goal for January? If you didn’t, that is ok! February is a whole new month. 5 pounds – you can do it!

wow great job!!! are you using the WW app to track? the online stuff is the only thing keeping me from going batty tracking. I have lost since the beg if the month, but not 5lbs, sigh. it’s just so slow going, I’m sure one of my drugs is interfearing!

I made my 5lb goal last month also! I’m about to drop below 200lbs. for the first time since High School! While I have quite a way to go still, 200lbs has been a big hurdle for some time now.

    Congrats on your success!

Well, my goals aren’t exactly the same, but I gained 2 pounds. I’m 5 months pregnant and I’ve only gained 3 pounds total. Yay! And I went to the gym 3 times (could use some improvement). And I’m starting my no sugar program this week.

Way to go Christine. Great job!

Oh, yeah, I killed my 5 pound goal with 14 pounds since December 25th. I think it will slow down, so 5 lbs in February, here I come!!

Hi Christine, you are on fire. Most people started out being unrealistic, then they lose motivation and wondered why they failed. In a few months 5lbs per month will result in a huge loss. Great to see you and Mike also supporting each other!

I followed your former posts and tried out the 5lbs goal. I lost weight last December 09 (imagine that) at about 12lbs. Since I read your post last January and set the same goal, I gained 8lbs. LOL. It was my fault really, I stopped eating carbs but had chocolates stacked in our fridge. Well, here I go again…
    Keep it up! Great job.

So proud of you Christine. How hard it is when we sit on the computer most of our lives. It catches up to us. I’m doing the same thing but hired a trainer to attempt to murder me. ;) Congrats!
