Mobile Desktops…

What happens when 3 people bring complete desktop computers – giant monitors and all – into the local Starbucks? The reaction is quite hilarious! I love the Windows 95 machine. [Props to Laurie for posting the link on twitter.]

Speaking of hilarious things, after I wrapped up my client meeting at the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble this morning, I decided to walk through the magazine section to see if there was anything I wanted to buy. I passed on buying this, but the fact that anyone felt the need to publish a guide for Facebook really amuses me to no end!

I work in magazine publishing. While all cry that “print is dead”, I find a bit of job security in the fact that the need to publish a hard copy companion piece to a website even exists. Congratulations on your invitation to photographik. Your work is amazing.

Errr…. I have a Facebook page. I could use a guide. But that’s partly because 1) I don’t want to take a reasonable amount of time viewing its options, and 2) I’m not very motivated since only one or two friends use it.
