I’m Sending the Squirrel After You, Whoever You Are…

Up Close & Personal

Hermann Park squirrel; shot taken during an engagement session on Nov. 11, 2007.

At 2:45am, the home phone rang. Immediately giving me a heart attack, because it could have only meant something bad had happened to someone. Mike answered; no one there.

Then my cell phone started to ring. I didn’t get it answered in time.

Then the house phone rang again. I answer. It is some guy, who knows that I am Christine, and tells me that he is Paul … you know, who I met at the bar tonight. You know, I gave him my business card. You know, Paul. (He kept saying, “you know” over and over – ignoring my very obvious confusion.)

Whathuh? I went to dinner with my parents, my husband & my son. I came home and finished editing a wedding. No bar was involved in any of this.

So he hangs up – and calls back on my cell phone to prove that I really did give him my business card. Otherwise, how would he have both numbers? I told him – AGAIN – that my HUSBAND and I were HOME and I was not at a bar. He told me to *bleep* off and hung up on me.

Of course, now I’m wide awake. It is 3:15am. And I am REALLY annoyed that some chick out there claimed to be me and gave out my business card. WTF? Grrrrrr….

That’s messed up! Although, do you suppose it’s possible he got your business card some time ago, and that he got some other random chick’s business card tonight, and was just so drunk, that when he took out the card to drunk dial, he took out yours instead of the girl he meant to harrass with his smooth moves?

At any rate, you should probably make note of the number he called from and deny his business if he ever decides he needs it!

Reverse phone look-up. Then diap the assh@@@ at 5am when he is still asleep and ream him a new one. Then turn him into the phone co. for harrassment.

I thought this was the beginning a of a pretty good horror, suspense, or dectective story. I didn’t realize it a was true until I read the responses. I guess reality is better than fiction. Sorry to hear that happened to you.

Wow, that is some low down behavior – even if the chick just was too chicken to give her real information. It’s low to give some other unsuspecting chick’s information out.

That really sucks. Especially when that guy keep calling late night. That’s just nuts. And who ever the chick who gave must have been drunk ad mixed up your card and gave it to that guy. Possible.
