Recovering…
A quick summary of the past few days. It is all that I have energy for.
- Friday, Katy Blogless & I celebrated “Yeah! The kids are back in school!” Friday, and went to Twisted Yarns to sit & knit. As an added bonus, there was a SALE and they had received some Mountain Colors 4/8ths wool in the color that I fell in love with last year and wanted to make a sweater with. Last year, they didn’t have enough for a sweater - I don’t think they had enough even for a scarf - and it turns out that it takes months for them to get new stock from them. So as soon as I saw it was there, I had to snatch it up. There is another sweater in my future.
- Saturday morning, The Tara ™ called, and said she was thinking of coming to Houston. I talked her into it, and she is now here. Yeah! De-catting the house quickly happened so that her allergies wouldn’t go too haywire.
- Saturday at 5pm, the fall wedding season kicked off! I left The Tara ™, Mike & Jason and went to shoot an awesome wedding. It was so fabulous, but I’ll leave all those details for a post of its own. I got home close to 2am. It was a good, long night!
- Today, slept in later than I had planned and now The Tara ™ and I are off to go see a movie!
I need to download 14GB of memory cards, and then there will be lots of photos to share. Whee!
