The Lack of Knitting Time…

Future Knitter?

Can you believe that I have picked up my knitting needles exactly one time in the past 6 weeks? Once! But it is all for good reason, although I sure do miss it. Missing it is made a lot easier when I get to spend time with newborns, babies, and just people in general for Fresh Photography. Photographing newborns may just be the best part of all. I got to meet Cooper yesterday, Kandis’s son and Julia’s grandson. Oh my goodness, is he ever a sweetie! And totally in that complete newborn phase, with the exception of not wanting to sleep. We all hear that newborns are supposed to sleep 17 hours a day or something like that, but Cooper wasn’t having any of it. He did sleep some, but he was awake a lot too. He also “christened” me, so I’m officially a newborn baby photographer now. That’s what I get for making him pose nude for so long – I totally pushed the limit on it!

Knitting time will return soon enough, I’m sure. For now, I’ve got lots of photographs – and more photo shoots – to play with!

Interested in hiring me to take your child’s newborn photos? I would love to talk! More details at the Newborn photography site.

Fabulous! I wish that I could find enough reasons for you to come for a photo shoot – but most people I know go to sears or walmart…they don’t know what they are missing.

Wow….once again your photos amaze me! Have you gotten into senior portraits yet? My daughter is a junior and each day gets mail from photography studios prompting calls to set up a sitting for senior pics. Of course they ALL look wonderful and what teenage girl doesn’t want to look like the girls in the ads? Of course the sitting fees are a few hundred dollars….not including the actual purchase of photo packages….of course. (Yikes! I didn’t spend that much on my wedding pictures! Of course that’s been awhile…but still.) Unfortunately all the ads are quite similar and don’t have that ‘fresh’ touch. If you are ever near Pittsburgh, PA with your camera in hand you could probably clean UP! I am anxious to check your site for new pics. Keep up the INCREDIBLE work! :)
