A Moment of Panic…

Posted on January 12, 2007 by Christine | 2 Comments

While working on the Faith jacket, I always had quick, portable knitting to take with me. I mean, come on. It is basically a lot of short garter stitch scarves. I can knit them in the dark.

The Faith Jacket is now done. All 50+ ends are woven in. It is ready to wear as I type this.

We are about to leave to go to EJ & Sherry’s house to watch a movie. Of course, I want to take light knitting along with me. Something that requires no concentration really, just knitting. I finished weaving in ends just over an hour ago, and so now I feel lost.

I must admit, I’m sure there is a skein or two (or twenty) of sock yarn around here that I can grab and take with me. But I just feel weird without my Faith jacket strips. I think it is time to cast on the Brooks Farm 4-Play scarf!
