While You Were Sleeping…

I drank my first caffienated cola last night in almost two weeks.
I always used to say that caffiene had NO effect on me, and that I could drink a cola and then go to bed. No effect at all.
I learned last night that if I drink cola at 10pm at night, I will still be WIDE AWAKE at 3am. Wide awake.
This is not a good thing.
However, it does mean that the Fresh Photography website is now LIVE. I even edited CSS code, which is a major feat for me. Try not to faint from the shock. Online ordering isn’t all the way there yet. It will happen, soon.
I am not drinking more cola to make it happen though. I am back to the Diet Sprite and I promise to avoid the sweet brown nectar and get some sleep instead.
(Please let me know what you think of the layout – if the colors are wonky on your monitor, if anything is breaking, etc. I really appreciate your help.)
UPDATE: Thanks to nubiancrafter’s suggestion, I put photos along the top of the site. I managed CSS *and* PHP this time! *gasp.* One problem. There is a mystery dot up there. I have no CLUE what is causing it or how to get rid of it. Anyone have any suggestions? I suspect it is an issue with a ul or li somewhere, but I can’t seem to make it go away.
Another update: Geeky gave me the code in the comments, but it needed a slight tweaking. An e-mail to Jenn, who will forever be the ScriptyGoddess, and she sent me code for the CSS to tweak the header, and now? NO DOT! SWEET!

I really love the colors and the pictures. I would only suggest adding some sort of banner like the one on this site as it would definitely liven the look up. Good Job on all that coding

The new photography site looks great! I love your shots. When the shop is up, I’ll have to take a look around for London and Paris pics. They’re my dream vacation destinations!

it looks like you probably just need a list-style-type: none on #b-recenttop, but i just glanced at it quickly.

*grumble* Well, I tried it and it didn’t fix it. I know it is a list bullet, and I really just wish it would go away!

It looks great Christine – thanks so much!!! One thing… the picture banner looks great in IE but it is wonky in FireFox and it overlaps the logo and the blue header line. I am not using the latest FireFox but one version back (I know, I know, I have been too lazy to install the latest one, I will, I will).

YOU edited CSS? Where can I get some of that stuff you are drinking? I thought mainlining Diet DP was all I needed. Going now to look at site.
