Off to See the Wizard!

I haven’t talked about “Dr. Hand” here in a long time, but I will be visiting him this morning. It is time to take care of my left hand. The carpal tunnel release will be today at 10am, and I get the joy of having full anesthesia instead of just the block and “twilight” anesthesia because, as usual – I am not usual. The block didn’t work on me last time, and they had to do the full anesthesia instead. It is delightfully nippy outside, and afterwards Mike will bring me home and I will snuggle up in bed to recover.
I really appreciate your prayers, positive thoughts, or whatever mojo you can share.
I’ll have Mike post if there is anything unusual, otherwise I will be back online in a few days! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! (Even if you’re not in the US, take a moment to be thankful for what you’ve got!)

May your anesthesia be strong, your recovery swift and the turkey plentiful, followed by a lot of pie.
Cheers!
