The nurse and I really wanted to be sure that Dr. Hand knew where to cut, so she wrote “YES” on my arm at my request.

    When I had knee surgery years ago they did the same thing. Yes on the knee to work on and No on the other. Scary huh? Hope all went well!

    Hang in there! I was so nervous before my surgery, but once you get to the hospital it’s really too late to be nervous, isn’t it? I’m just getting back to Houston and still recovering, but doing well. I hope you have a speedy recovery, too!

    I don’t know why, but I think that would make me feel less reassured. Eh. So how are you feeling post-surgery?

    I guess YES is better than a big giant X. You heal up girl. Glad that there wasn’t anything serious on your tests and stuff, but I bet that is frustrating. Take care and hope you don’t have any bad pain!!
