Wonka time! But I can’t open it until after my Chemistry test tomorrow.
Can I just say that I am amused that the movie is rated PG for “quirky situations?” How fabulous is that?

I think it’s creepy to make movies that appeal to kids, but have adult content or “quirky situations” to cause a PG rating. But you might think something that I thought was fabulous was creepy LOL

i knew there was a special edition of this movie. i’m so glad i didn’t pick it up at Wal-Mart or i would be sorely disappointed. gonna make a trip to Best Buy it seems.

Actually, my copy came from Target, and they had it advertised at Wal-Mart also. I never buy them at Best Buy – the day of release (Tuesdays), movies are greatly discounted at Circuit City, Target and Wal-Mart.
It isn’t any thicker than the regular disk, just in a paper sleeve and says “two disc special edition” on the top.

Quirky situations? That gets a PG? Could the PG rating be for the creepy child molestor vibe that Johnny gives off? Just a thought.

I think my life is rated R for the exact same reason.

i’m so jealous! i loved that movie. i hear the 2nd disc has a special thing about the killer squirrels and an oompa dance off. tell me it’s true!
