Knitty!

Posted on April 7, 2005 by Christine | 7 Comments

I’ve been waiting, and waiting, and waiting … the new Spring Issue of Knitty is online! Ignore the whole Cleaves thing though, as that just might be one of the most hideous things I have ever seen. Wrong. So very wrong.

I’m all about the bags though. And the scarves. And the flowers. Those are all good. So that makes up for the whole Cleaves thing.

Oh no kidding! The cleaves thing is wonky. Several of them are, actually.. but I do admire their creativity and originality. I’m loving the lacy patterns and the flowers! Happy Knitty. :)

You are so right about the cleaves. Goodness! But I will definitely check it out! Thanks for the tip.

Yeah that cleaves thing is a lot more “conceptual art knitter” than my newbie practical knitter brain can handle right now. I like the photo on the cover though. But I think I’m just liking the hair in that. Eeee a new knitty! Yay!

I don’t like cleaves either, apart from looking a bit strange it also looks totally uncomfortable. I like the patterns from the earlier issues of Knitty best.

Cleaves made me wince, but “I do” is wow! And Via Diagonale is a must! Wendy posted a chart for the slip stitch pattern on her blog http://www.zibibboisgood.com/
