Paris in Spring!

Back in February, I attended the Stampin’ Up! regional convention in San Antonio. I made cards for the card swap, and I submitted one to Stampin’ Up! for their review. Today I found out that it is featured in the Demonstrator’s Stamper’s Showcase! Whoo hoo! They only select a few cards, and they seem to have rather strict guidelines. I’m so excited that mine was picked!

Oh, wow! (Or rather… Ooh-la-la indeed!) Congratulations!

You are just totally unstoppable now, aren’t you? Not only is she a total web goddess, but with the knitting and the stamping and the gardening and… and… and… a crafty queen too!

About the card itself, it’s really, really beautiful. I’m an amateur cardmaker myself, but I’m afraid I don’t use stamps. I don’t think stamping was intended for clumsy folk like me. Oh, and a question: the girl on the moped, is that also stamped, or did you draw that by hand?
PLEASE DON’T TELL ME YOU DREW THAT BY HAND. BECAUSE IF YOU DID THEN THERE WILL BE NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD!

Damn… I wrote you this long comment and for some reason it didn’t post! So I think I’d better e-mail it to you. Maybe I was too verbose or something?

How cute is that?! Moreover, how cute is your blog. I clicked because I love big pink cookies… and boy is this ever one. Could you design some bedsheets with your blog theme? Because I would totally buy them. :) Have a terrific weekend, talented girl ~ cg

wooohoo way to go.

i forgot to mention before but last week I was in the airport and there was a women talking on the phone about Stampin’ up. then she hung up her phone and pulled out a box of stamps and started going to town. I so wanted to talk to her about it but worried she would think I was strange.

Redsaid, it is all stamped. I stamped the scooter girl in Basic Black and colored her in with the fabulous Stampin’ Up! markers. I stamped the Eiffel Tower images in Close to Cocoa. I’m on a big pink/brown kick lately, if you can’t tell. The card and the new site design were done close to one another. :)

I love it! I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party a few weeks ago, but passed as it was in San Marcos and I didn’t yet feel comfortable with taking or leaving Olivia. I’m currently working on her birth announcements (no stamping, but lots of embossing and cutting).

So, where’s the gallery of your homemade cards? I don’t remember the URL.

Oh that is very cool! Really has that same great flare that your site has! I love it, and *so* wish I had time to stamp again. I’d be knockin’ down your door looking for new stamps to buy if I had even a spare moment!!! :) {{{hugs}}} since I hadn’t been around lately to give any out!

Love this card! Congratulations on making the review magazine for demonstrators! I have this set and may have to “lift” your idea. I usually do this one in turquoise and pink but I LOVE the brown!
