Simply Stated…

Snagged from Planet Janet, to spare you from hearing me ramble about my class on knitting socks tomorrow.
Bold the states you’ve been to, underline the states you’ve lived in and italicize the state you’re in now…
Alabama / Alaska / Arizona / Arkansas / California / Colorado / Connecticut / Delaware / Florida / Georgia / Hawaii / Idaho / Illinois / Indiana / Iowa / Kansas / Kentucky / Louisiana / Maine / Maryland / Massachusetts / Michigan / Minnesota / Mississippi / Missouri / Montana / Nebraska / Nevada / New Hampshire / New Jersey / New Mexico / New York / North Carolina / North Dakota / Ohio / Oklahoma / Oregon / Pennsylvania / Rhode Island / South Carolina / South Dakota / Tennessee / Texas / Utah / Vermont / Virginia / Washington / West Virginia / Wisconsin / Wyoming / Washington D.C /
Go HERE to have a form generate the HTML for you.
… I have a question though – do states I’ve been through count? I think I’ve been through a few states that I didn’t mark, but I didn’t stay long enough to count them as a visit (just passing through from one state to another), so do those count?
My states I want to visit, but I haven’t been there yet? Alaska, California, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Wyoming. Uh, yeah, pretty much all of the ones I haven’t been to before.
Socks. Tomorrow. I can hardly wait!

Go to Maine in summer or fall. Never ever winter unless you feel like freezing to death….lol

Yay for Pennsylvania! Although, if you’re not in one of the major cities, don’t expect to see too much other than pretty trees and cows and such.
(I also love Florida and Maine and Vermont. If you go to Vermont, make sure you visit the Ben and Jerry’s factory. You’ll get a free sample of a new, not-on-the-market yet flavor at the end of the tour!)

Philadelphia – no car rental needed! fly there, take the train into Center City, bus or walk to historic sites.

Shouldn’t different areas of Texas count too. West Texas is a whole ‘nother world from Houston

If you have set foot in the state (or car) then it counts.
I think.
