Just another way to try to tackle WP spam.

Ohhhh my gosh, I JUST got slaughtered by trackback spam two nights ago.
I’m using mt and so Mike did the upgrade for me, but I still have to learn what’s new in the new mt and how the new features will help avoid comment and trackback spam. Gawd, it was awful. Hundreds and hundreds of them.

Oh thanks! My daughter’s site just got nailed by comment spam and I’ve been looking for a script for her. Will point her to that site.

I installed the plug-in earlier and re-opened pings on my site and PROMPTLY got a trackback spam. So I closed pings on my site again via phpMyadmin. So now I get no pingbacks or trackbacks, but I also get no trackback spam.
