Movable Type 3.14 has been released, “which fixes the issue of extreme loads witnessed on servers under the strain of a massive spam attack.” If you’re using MT 3.x – you NEED to do this upgrade. Trust me, your hosting company will thank you.

Off topic, but hey, I can’t believe you didn’t comment on last week’s The Amazing Race. You ARE watching it this go ’round, aren’t you?
If you’re saving it on TiVo, I won’t comment, but I do need to hear your feedback on Jonathan and the backpack incident. (and remember, it is on an hour earlier this week)
I’ll wait patiently for your thoughts…..(taps foot)

dunno if it’s better, but 3.14 was an easy install. Don’t forget to get the new version of MT-blacklist as well.

It’s on the Tivo. And we’re over a week behind. Sorry, Promo. *hangs head in shame* And hopefully the Tivo remembered that it was an hour earlier this week. (It should. That’s its job.)

it did that to one of my boxes last week. It was so bad I could not even login to kill it.

LOL! Thanks for THAT link–did you actually look at the rest of the site? Mr. Big-Ol-Thug is actually some little punk kid from Erie, PA….check it out.
Incidentally–why does TypePad’s comment section tell me this is an invalid URL? It’s the same one I’ve been using all along…http://the-story-of-why.blogspot.com
