The Amazing Race 6 – Part 1

Yeah, I’m a week and a day late in watching The Amazing Race’s season premier. But I can’t help but wonder – what’s up with all the models on this season’s race? I mean really – are there enough of them?
And how about the mini pigtails on the one guy’s head? That’s just scary. And the body builders? Priceless.
I love that they started the race in Chicago. I haven’t been there since I was a teenager, but I still recognized a lot of things. It makes me want to visit there even more!

You know how I recognized Chicago at the start of the race? The fountain! The theme from ‘Married With Children’ instantly started playing in my head.
I am also a bit miffed that they have included so many model/actor teams. How about showing some real people?
My main gripe is that they keep getting the wife beater types. Adam (Hellboy) has such an abusive personality. He scares me and I fear for Rebecca’s future safety if she stays with him.

i’m actually liking this season’s AR, although it’s true — there are way too many good looking people on there this year. or at least too many implants… i was sorry to see ‘Brooklyn’ go the first week and then ‘Queens’ the next — those were two of my early favorites. so now i’m rooting for Kris & Jon to win, and Jonathan to lose. that guy’s such an a*s!
