Christine,
if this is going to catch your eye, let me tell you I am there, doing that. I live in Slovenia, Europe. I am a knitter since my 6th year of age, a single mother of two, and I returned to school just after I turned 36 Now, I’m in my fourth year of the faculty and going strong. My dream is to become a translator/interpreter for English-Slovenian and maybe a third language or to continue studying for a masters degree.Yes, I’l be 41 this summer and enjoying every moment of being back to school and actually having good chances to finish it soon.
From time to time, I take my needles and express myself. I find knitting relaxing and fulfilling. My daughter is pleased with the final products also.
