The Debate…

Posted on October 13, 2004 by Christine | 3 Comments

I actually made it through the whole debate without throwing anything at the TV. I threatened it a few times, but I didn’t do it.

I think my favorite moment was when Bush was asked about his wife and he said that when he proposed she made him promise that she would never have to give a speech. “Fortunately, she did not hold me up to that deal.” She’s out campaigning for him. Then he goes on to say…

“She speaks English a lot better than I do.”

Yep. I know that’s right.

Tee hee! I had read 3-4 props to Kerry for wearing a red tie at the second debate, so I started cracking up when I saw that Bush was wearing one for the third debate!
