By the way, when you see the Texas Delegates Arriving In NYC For RNC wearing those crazy-ass outfits, including custom-made cowboy boots with (*shivver*) “Bush 2004″ embroidered on them, please know that we do NOT dress like that in Texas. Last night I watched the closing ceremonies, and throughout they played clips of the memorable moments in Athens. I have a confession … it made me teary-eyed. Yep, there is no point in denying it – I’m a big-time Olympic sap. I feel better for confessing it.
