Rocco Shut Out of His Restaurant…

Posted on July 28, 2004 by Christine | 4 Comments

When I finally got a chance to view the season finale of “The Resturant”, I discovered that President Reagan had died that day and the programming was messed up. I never got to see the finale. However, it’s still no surprise to learn that Rocco is Shut Out of his “Restaurant”. Yeah, Rocco was being a jackmonkey, wasting money, spending it on crazy things. It’s no wonder he ran the restaurant into the ground.

Yeah Rocco, so how do you like them meatballs?

I know! I liked Rocco the first season, but the second season? The constant question was, “Where is Rocco?” It truly seemed like success went to his head.

This is what a restaurant is really like! Despite the editing, which is certainly biased to create drama, there is a lot of truth the the problems that restaurant owners face. Financial and other ‘partners’ who create problems, staff that are nuts, and customers who are insatiable. The chef owner ends up a little nuts as well dealing with every little problem and responsible for everyone elses happiness. Every employee, customer and vendor wants a piece of the owner and holds them to the highest standard without having to meet it themselves.
