I Want Pink Hair…

Posted on July 27, 2004 by Christine | 13 Comments

The “Beauty School Dropout” scene in Grease – you know, the one with Frankie Avalon singing to her about how she should go back to high school – is really, really strange at 2 in the morning.

And how about the Greased Lightning scene? If I can’t have the pink hair, I want a hot rod with a clear hood.

Speaking of clear things and weird movie moments – anyone remember that movie from the late ’70s or early ’80s where the big fashion rage is to have jeans with clear plastic in place of the back pockets? (No, I’m not making this up.) For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of that movie. Hmm…

ROFL! No, no, I don’t really want pink hair. I just realized as I was heading to bed what a strange scene that is in Grease. Frenchy’s hair is pink, and thus – the title.

No, the other movie definitely wasn’t a Woody Allen movie. It had some cute title, which I just can’t think of. Hm…

I really only think the Greased Lightning scene is bizarre when it’s on regular television and all edited up to leave out “the girls will cream for greased lightning.” *grin*

The hot rod scene is the best… And doesn’t Frenchie manage to get green hair as well later on? Trust me, Pink hair isn’t worth it.. It washes out way too fast after all the painful bleaching… A hot rod with a clear hood might be worth it tho!
