It Must Be Said…

I hate CSS! I hate CSS! I hate CSS! I hate CSS!!!

I have bullets showing up in Firefox next to my Cookie Crumb posts. I can even make custom bullets show up, but I need to design one that I like, so for now it’s just a dot.

Then I switch to IE. No bullet! GAH! I hate CSS!

Maybe I should go beat my head on adding a skin back to my site. Really, that can’t be any worse, could it? Nahhhh…

Meanwhile, in the kitchen of Chez Tremoulet, Mike has six cookbooks open while he makes dinner. We’re only having 3 items, and two of those are steaks and asparagus, which he already makes very well. In the quest for tasty au gratin potatoes, he has six cookbooks open. He rocks. Seriously, rocks.

Don’t hate CSS. Hate IE. :)

Don’t necessarily hate IE. In IE 5.5 and Windows NT4 (don’t ask, please) I’m getting the bullets just fine.

Nevermind, it’s OK to hate IE… but not for the lack of bullets. :)

Yeah, I’m getting some funkiness when looking at your site with Firefox. I must say that normally I love CSS but Firefox seems to handle it differently and I am not happy about that.

Actually – the site should be funkiness free in Firefox, because that’s what I have done all of the editing in. If you’re seeing funky things, then it’s an older version of Firefox and you need to upgrade.

I’ve never tried Firefox…my browser of choice is Opera. IE is truly evil!

At Chez Murphy, I’m the one who has six cookbooks open to make three dishes! My name is Christine, and I am a coobook-a-holic…

I know exactly what you mean – I’m currently completely rewriting a scuba club website to use WordPress, and I keep finding inconsistencies between browsers.

Generally, it has to be said that Firefox & Mozilla follow the CSS standard a lot more closely than IE. Most of the problems are because IE doesn’t implement the standard correctly. It is possible to get everything looking OK, but it takes perserverance!
