Finally Fall!

Whoo hoo! We finally have fall weather here in Houston! Today the high is only going to be 70 degrees. 70 degrees! At last! Of course, the high on Wednesday is expected to be 82. Will the summer never end?
Yes, a high of 70 degrees (right now it’s only 55!) is something to be very excited about. What? Why are you giving me that strange look? You mean 70 degrees isn’t “fall” weather in the rest of the country?

I thought about going to the store last night just to get firewood so I could use mine too! (No wonder people that live up north think we are nuts…)

Hey, 70 degrees is a wonderful break here. We only get temps that low for about two weeks, but every little bit helps!

That’s like WINTER here! I pine for 70 degrees!! Heck. I pine for 82 degrees right now.

i didn’t use my heater or use the fireplace but i did snuggle up in my cute fleece blankie i bought at IKEA. and i finally had to turn off the ceiling fan in my upstairs room. i love this kind of weather!

Ah, yes…fall in Texas. Fall means that we turn the A/C down from “max” to “regular”.

70 degrees? That’s winter in Southeast Georgia… it’s been positively chilly here at night when it gets down to 67 lately.

Yeah, we’re getting 79 degrees today here in Orlando (had a low of 64) and it’s time for rejoicing. This is very fall-like for us. For a change.
