I’m Selling Out…

If you’re using the default skin on my blog and you look at the very bottom of the sidebar on the left, you will see two text links. You may have seen them on the sites of other bloggers too. What are they? Links that I’ve been paid to post. No special requirements or anything, just post the links and be paid well. Want in? Let me know and I will pass your information on to the appropriate people and you can sign up too. Yeah, I probably get a referral fee for sending you – and you will get money too.
So you may say I’m selling out, but really it’s a win-win situation for all of us! Let me know if you’re interested!

The post is interesting, but I don’t know that I agree with him. They are text links – they are doing it to boost their Google ranking, more than likely. I don’t get paid per click, you don’t get pop up ads when you visit my site, it’s a link tag only, no Javascript or anything else.
Or maybe I’m just a-ok with it because I’m getting paid. I would have a lot easier time tolerating the hundreds of spam e-mails already in my Inbox if I was getting paid to deal with them.

I did it too. I control the links, he paid me. Simple as that. I think he is just trying to get a quick jump in the google ranking for the sites. I’d be surprised if I kept getting the money long term, but maybe he’ll have some other sites to promote.
