Get Chatting with Skype!

This is a link that I would normally post over there in my sidebar in the “Cookie Crumbs” microblog, but considering I haven’t really heard any buzz about it at all lately, I wanted to post it in my main blog instead, just to get your attention. Check out Skype. Why? Because it is the “phenomenon from the people who brought you KaZaA.” One small difference – instead of sharing files, you’ll be making free phone calls over a P2P network. They just have to have Skype too. (Oh, and a computer with a microphone.) Check it out and learn what Skype is all about! [via Craig and the Captivate TV screens in my elevator at work.]
Has anyone tried it? I have used other free phone services in the past through the Internet, but that was before the Dot Com Bust, and those companies are long gone. I think this looks pretty cool and definitely worth checking out. Who wants to Skype with me?

Can anybody help me with exact directions about Skype? I have downloaded it, installed a microphone but don’t know how to deal with the fact that everything is gray under call and when somebody calls me I don’t know how to answer and can’t hear.
