50 Years…

It is Mr. Potato Head’s 50th Anniversary. Pointed out to me over lunch at the 59 Diner by Kymberlie. Yummm… tasty food! Also, did you know that Castro had tried out to be a baseball player in the 40′s? I never knew that. Once again, she is a bevy of information. Just don’t bother trying to follow our train of thought – while we are right on track, you might end up feeling like you derailed.
By the way, is it a coincidence that it is also Ronald Reagan’s birthday today too?

Oh, the 59 Diner is awesome! I miss some of the eateries there in Houston, but I surely don’t miss the miles that separate Lonnie and I.

There’s a really easy joke to make about Ronald Reagan and Mr. Potato Head, but given the reaction the last time I made fun of a Republican around here, I guess I won’t go there.

Plus, today is his 91st birthday. Let’s all be kind to Ron today.

the girl that sits in front of me in Intro to Communications is from the town that Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head is from. I kid you not. In her “introduction” she said it. I just about died laughing.
Happy Birthday, Ronnie!
