Poor Robyn … the rest of us can see her new domain URL, but she can’t get to it! If you can access it, change your bookmarks - she’s at BlogBlogBaby.com now! Yep, sing the song. That’s how I ended up registering the domain in the first place, after all. But I was never going to use it, and if she moved over here with me on MT, she needed a url, well - you see how it flows. Blog, Blog Baby! (Robyn, call your ISP and tell them to reboot their damn DNS server!)

Blogger Insider - what a cool idea! Wow! I’ll have to sign up for that soon … as soon as I have a minute to think straight. (Amazing that I can surf & talk to clients about mindless drivel at the same time…) Thanks again to the ever cool Candi for the link!

The latest on the “What a DUMBASS” radar: this Georgia couple tried to file a claim, stating that the wife was killed in the September 11th bombing of the WTC. What *ucking idiots. And they live in a small town, so it didn’t take much to figure out that she was alive. Hello? You don’t claim to be dead and then return to your small home town! DUMBASS. I am so glad they were busted. And I agree with Candi there is a special place in hell waiting for these people. (Thanks for the link, Candi)

Beatle George Harrison dies. “He died with one thought in mind — love one another”. Paul McCartney and others had many wonderful things to say about his life.

The Ultimate Bad Candy Web Site - A Confectionary Nightmare is a guide to the candies that you shouldn’t eat. You know, we all have some that we hate, E_B_A’s comments reminded me of those nasty rock hard peanutbutter candies that you see at Halloween time, you know - the ones with the orange or black wrappers. They are guaranteed to pull out at least 3 fillings or break 2 teeth in the attempt to eat them.

Earlier this week I got a huge chuckle over the commercial now on TV for the mayorial candidate for the Republican party in Houston, Orlando Sanchez. On November 20th, former President Bush and Barbara Bush have given him their support. The commercial is done in sound bits, and it just amuses me. I can’t explain why. I think part of it is Barbara Bush saying our dangerous our roads are in Houston … yeah? Is Orlando going to go out there and stop the idiots that drive through the intersection right by my office which is one of the top 3 accident intersections? If you saw how these people drive … well, it explains why our roads are unsafe. And why did Barbara & President Bush wait until Nov. 20th to back him? Why not a month before the November elections? Why weeks later? Yeah, ok.

NOW … Rudy Giuliani is campaigning for our mayorial candidate, Orlando Sanchez. Yes, telling us that if we elect him we will be showing the rest of the country what a city of hope and leadership Houston is. Ok, now most of you that visit this site are NOT in Houston … to you give a flip about who we elect for mayor? NO. No, no, no. I am sure you don’t care one single bit. What a stupid commercial. I love that it ends with “Paid for by the campaign of Orlando Sanchez”. In other words, they bought Mayor Giuliani to say good things about him? Gee, I wonder what else we will see before the run-off election on December 1.

Every Wednesday, KPRC has Top Website Wednesday. Some weeks aren’t that interesting (if they read blogs they would have seen all those sites already) but last night’s were good: MilePoint.com lets you turn your airline miles into “money” (gift certificates basically); Snoring Help for those of you that have to deal with it; and Travel Britian has published information on touring Harry Potter locations.

In case you were wondering, here is the information on last night’s news report: Researchers Discover Way To Help Ease Migraines. “UT Houston researchers said that the red-orange contacts seem to be working well and wonder if other colors such as blue or green will stop migraines better.” Actually, when I used to wear blue colored contacts … don’t ask, I have blue eyes, but not *that* shade of blue … anyways, I get headaches when I am under ultraviolet lights wearing blue contacts. So I want the orange/red ones!

Using mailto Encoder will format your e-mail address in a way that is not readable by an e-mail extractor or search engine. I am setting it up, as my e-mail address is starting to get more & more spam. (I am going to have to start using SpamCop too…)
