While I was visiting Nude Awakening inside Zendora’s Box I got quite a laugh out of this joke…

Bush won the election.
He and Cheney are having lunch at a diner near the White House.
Cheney orders the “Heart-Healthy” salad.
Bush leans over to the waitress and says “Honey, could I have a quickie?”
She’s horrified!
She says, “Mr. President, I thought your administration would bring a new era of moral rectitude to the White House. Now I see I was wrong and I’m sorry I voted for you,” and she marches off.
Cheney leans over and says “George, I think it’s pronounced ‘QUICHE’.”

I have to get my hands on a copy of Papal Sin: Structures of Deceit. The other night I finally got around to watching “Christianity in the Second Millenium” that I taped when it was aired on A&E, and it was utterly fascinating. For one thing, I can’t believe that we (I am Catholic) don’t let priest marry just because a Pope decided in the middle ages that it wasn’t right. It is so obvious that if they let priest marry today, the priest shortage wouldn’t be an issue. Just thought it was pretty interesting.

I need to go back to what’s in rebecca’s pocket? too. NOW I am finally leaving the office…

I love visiting the Therapy Theatre. I guess because it helps me realize that I am *not* alone out there. I have been moody for 3 days, thinking of all the things in life I have missed out on, friends that I have lost touch with, etc. Reading “threnody” :o) makes me feel more grounded.

I recently received a response to my own ad, which is at both One-and-Only.com and Match.com from an interesting man named Tom. You can see his profile here. I wrote him back, and today he sent me a nice long detailed e-mail. So I responded to that too. Now the waiting game begins. That is always the hard part, isn’t it?
